Clean Air Choice™

Clean Air Choice™ is the outdoor air program of the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest, covering IA, IL, IN, MN, ND, SD, and WI. Our organization seeks to reduce the health problems associated with outdoor air pollution by helping people make an informed ‘clean air choice.’ We offer information and resources on cleaner fuels, cleaner sources of energy and advanced vehicle technologies that can reduce ozone pollution, particulate pollution and greenhouse gas emissions today. Leinenkugel’s and Minnehaha Creek Watershed District

Spend Sunday, July 12 cleaning up Minnehaha Creek ensuring the creeks survival for future generations. The day will begin with a pancake breakfast, provided by Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, at 9:00 am. Once you have “fueled up,” you will set off to a designated cleaning site. Remember to pick up as many candy bar wrappers as possible. There will be prizes to the top “gatherers.” Then enjoy a celebratory BBQ lunch, provided by Leinenkugel’s, lakeside. Then head home for a well-deserved nap. Don’t forget your ID. We will be carding you for your fabulous, cold Leinenkugel’s beer at lunch.
